Help Create a Sustainable Future for All!

Turn Your Passion Into Everyday Reality

Our students can't wait for you to be in the classroom!

If you're someone who has spent years mastering and practicing the principles of self-sufficiency and sustainable living and you share the love of wanting to save the planet, you've come to the right place! Teaching can be both a rewarding and passionate endeavor for many people. If that's you, then join our club of Community Worriors and register below to gain the opportunity to teach online and face-to-face classes at the Vine Communities School.

We work collaboratively with our registered instructors to create the best learning environment for all while accommodating their scheduling and logistical needs. Join a network of unique local and global Community Worriers who are helping to spread the 'know-how' of self-sufficiency to everyday people and especially our children. Our Instructors can choose to either volunteer to teach or receive an honorarium for the classes they teach.

All registered instructors will undergo a brief orientation program to ensure quality and consistency across the board and will receive the Vine Communities Instructor Badge. If some need further support, then we are able to offer a free of charge train the trainer program for those who need it. Once you're trained and you pass the first mock-up session, we will create a schedule for your programs and you'll experience the joy of knowledge transfer to both children and adults.

How Does it Work?

For Instructors

One of the hallmarks of healthy and resilient communities is learning and knowledge transfer. We are a community-led school focused on capturing the knowledge and wisdom of those who have traveled the path of resilience and are willing to share their learning with those around them.

If you have experience in any of the topics above or have an idea for a class we can offer, please let us know. We'll give you Instructor privileges so that you can run both live and online courses, stream live videos from the platform and create monthly challenges for our community. To gain those privileges, please fill in the form on this page.

This form is a preliminary interest registration followed by an in-depth conversation with you if your profile aligns with our mission and needs. Once your application is received, you consent to be screened/interviewed for further verification and or request more information about your experience before you are fully registered into our database.

All verified and registered practitioners will have the opportunity to gain some income under our guidelines and rates by being registered on the platform. Further details will be shared with you about our process once your application passes the initial screening and the platform goes live.

For Volunteers

Get the opportunity to be part of an exciting project that gives back to the community. We are seeking to create a pool of volunteers who will be enablers of operating the Vine Communities Center and Farm space. Registered volunteers will receive a job posting for a specific requirement and be able to apply/volunteer for the job related to their interests and the experience they seek to gain.

Examples of possible volunteer jobs are:

  • Chaperon students during field trips
  • Manage classrooms and support instructors
  • Be part of our events organizing team
  • Help out at the farm and help us complete specific green projects
  • Raise awareness about us and our programs in schools
  • Provide parents and individuals with information about Vine Communities and its programs

If you're passionate about being part of this exciting project, please register your interest using the form on this page, and we will be in touch with you with more details of how you can participate.
