Personal Resilience for Children & Teens

The planet is in need of healing and restoration to bring forth a more empowered, genuine, self-expressive, and sustainable lifestyle for all where values such as freedom, equality, community, and welfare are shared among all people.  As the path extends further ahead of us, we realize that our children need to gain the skills necessary to survive hardship and be able to adapt and deal with extreme situations should that be required in their future. Our lives are hanging on a thread that is currently tied to man-made systems. We have the power and the ability to tie the thread to the ever-regenerating and giving earth and begin to heal its land while it gives back to us, to our children, and to our grandchildren.

The Vine Communities Children and Teens Resilience Program offers courses designed for children and teens to develop resilience in all aspects of life, focusing on the totality of the self as mind, body, and spirit. The program's focus is to allow children and teens to gain the skills necessary to become more resilient as individuals who will lead tomorrow's world while being equipped to cope and deal with the uncertainties of the future.

Personal effectiveness Confidence & Communication (Kids 9-12)

With the increasing daily pressures on individuals and families, learning to become emotionally resilient is essential. In this session, we will focus on learning how to gain emotional resilience by learning the basics of practicing emotional intelligence as well as learning how to regulate and manage your emotions on a daily basis for the purpose of gaining more clarity, effectiveness in your daily life, and maximum impact when required.

Career and Passion Discovery (Teens 13-15)

Personality Dimensions® represents the next level of evolution in presenting temperament or personality theory. This dynamic tool is the culmination of the research and validation work that was done in Canada over two decades to support temperament theory, and to provide an easily understood methodology for building self-awareness, self-esteem, and effective communication strategies. To be an authentic and effective leader; the first step is to develop an awareness of the self and others. In this interactive workshop, leaders will identify their work styles and preferences, communicate more effectively with subordinates, peers, and patients; motivate team members to achieve extraordinary results and facilitate transformational organizational change

  • Participants will gain a better understanding of themselves, appreciate why others act the way they do, and understand the effect this has on workplace roles and responsibilities.
  • Explore the values and strengths each person brings to the workplace and reinforce these in a positive framework for everyone.
  • Build the grounds for an atmosphere of mutual understanding and respect; increase communication; and create strong relationships within the work environment and beyond.
